Upwey Relief Centre to open

Members of the Upwey Community have decided to open a relief centre to assist all residents and volunteers affected by the recent storms.

The Relief Centre will now operate out of the Belgrave Community Hub (details here).

The centre will continue to open based on demand but for at least 3 days per week from Monday to Wednesdays.

Residents and Volunteers can call in to charge up their phones and computers, have a cuppa and a chat.

Members of the Upwey Men’s Shed will be providing breakfast from 9am and Soupees will also be available to provide hot food.

An initiative of the Upwey Men’s Shed and Upwey Township Group we encourage residents who need a bit of support or volunteers involved in the massive clean up, to come to the relief centre. Please help us get the word out to those in need.
