We may not be able to get out and about much, but there are still a lot of exciting things going on in our community!

Here are some fun virtual events we can look forward to…

Award winning producer and mentor Laura Milke-Garner is returning for a second series of FREE Artist Development Webinars in August, held by Knox Arts & Events!

Webinars will be presented via Zoom. It’s free to register and participate:

MDLC Virtual Classes for Term 3

During Term 3 MDLC will be holding a variety of interesting and fun workshops online via Zoom! Check below for details.

  • 12.30pm to 2.30pm: Computers & Coffee Club
    Join Jon to talk everything technology! Computers, mobile phones, iPads, you name it! Open to all levels of digital literacy, the CC Club is a social on-line learning environment, where people are encouraged to share their knowledge, skills and handy tips.
  • 6pm to 8pm: Book Chat Club
    Read a good book recently? Want to share with others? Join Barb via Zoom for a fun interactive online Book Club.

To enrol in either, please complete a Learn Local Enrolment Form and your Tutor will contact you with details and instructions.

To join the workshops simply complete a Learn Local Enrolment Form and you will be contacted by your Tutor with further information and details of how you can join the workshop.

Knox Virtual Art Gallery

Knox Arts & Events is excited to launch the virtual Knox Art Collection, a beautiful online gallery that captures over 300 paintings, drawings, ceramics and heritage items collected by Knox City Council over the decades.

To celebrate the launch of the virtual gallery, Knox Council invites you to explore the collection, and let it be a source of inspiration to produce your own works of art at home.

  • Share your creation using #knoxinspired and help build a virtual community gallery.
  • There will be awards offered in a variety of categories.
