National Sorry Day, officially the National Day of Healing, is an event held annually in Australia on 26 May commemorating the Stolen Generations. It is part of ongoing efforts towards reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.

Wurundjeri Elder Colin Hunter Jnr (pictured above) performed the Welcome to Country ceremony.
The guest speaker was Sue-Ann Hunter from the Yooruk Justice Commission.
Adrian Greenwood’s didgeridoo performance was followed by dancers from the Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place.
