Empowering Our Community

Knox Council has received an Empowering Communities grant as part of the state government’s Building Safer Communities program. The grant supports community-led projects that enhance community safety and address the underlying causes of crime and community safety issues.

Recent city-wide engagement activities have highlighted key concerns indicating what the Knox Empowering Communities program should focus on. Ferntree Gully Village and environs has been chosen as one of several areas for funded projects.

This program is funded by the Victorian Government’s Building Safer Communities program.
