Knox Council funds Village renewal

First off the mark in a line of new projects for the Village is the Ferntree Gully Food Trail.
Supplying food in all its forms is one of the main activities of businesses in the Shopping Centre. They have struggled to stay open during lockdown and some have closed.

Now a generous grant from Knox Council’s Business Renewal program to the Village Traders Association has enabled around 20 participating shops to enliven their premises, offer specials to customers and increase the number of people coming into the village. And it means fun for all over Easter and the school holidays.

You are invited to walk the Trail for fun, for exercise, for sampling food specials, simply for walking with friends in April autumn, in the delightful setting of Ferntree Gully Village.

Beginning on Friday 26 March the Trail runs to 18 April. The participating food outlets in the Village include cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and takeaways.

The Food Trail is supported by local community groups and individuals, including FTG Rotary who are donating prizes for competitions.
