The Traders Association is so excited to announce events leading up to Christmas and beyond.

Ferntree Gully Market

The Traders Association, Janet Claringbold (Secretary) and I, Jeni McLean (President), received a cheque for $39,972 from Helen Wositzsky on behalf of Knox Council’s Empowering Communities to run five markets in the Ferntree Gully Village throughout the coming Summer. Final details to follow.

The markets will be run once a month. The aim of the markets is to connect the community and support local businesses.

Ferntree Gully Elf

This year throughout the month of December, there will be mystery sightings of elves in the shop windows. We encourage kids big and small to look in shop windows for the FTG Elf.

Once you find him, go into the shop and tell them they have an Elf in the shop window. They will reward you with a bag of lollies. Details to follow in the next edition of Ferntree Gully News.

Ferntree Gully Christmas Windows

This year we are encouraging our shops to decorate their windows for the month of December. We are wanting to encourage a Christmas spirit throughout the month of December. Look out to see what we look like.
