Trading in the Village during Pandemic

Many businesses have continued to trade, some with limited hours.

You can still get your coffee fix at Café 121, Chook Station and Rapture Café, together with yummy take-aways. Railyard Espresso is serving coffee with a difference.

The supermarkets, bakeries and the chemist are open as well as some hairdressers. If your computer is stressed, ITWIFI is there to help.

If your pooch needs pampering, Supermutts is open. And the vet’s clients, with pets, queue in their cars.

Flame Tree Burgers is alive and kicking and doing their usual yummy burgers on a home delivery basis.

Captain Stomp is trading online and you can arrange an isolation cake with Jennifer Anne’s Cakes. If you’re looking for flowers as an alternative gift, Cherry Gay is open.

Mark continues to repair all that’s broken, while the newsagent keeps abreast of local news.

Unfortunately the op shops are closed. We’ll be looking forward to their re-openings.

Thanks to all those advertisers who continue to support Ferntree Gully News. Where you can, please use local businesses during this very different and difficult time. Every purchase helps!

Thanks and stay safe.
