Kokoda Day Commemorative Service

You are welcome to join the annual commemorative service for Kokoda Day, to honour the brave young boys/men of the 39th Australian Infantry Battalion who fought so gallantly and paid the ultimate price so that we could enjoy a free Australia.
This service will be filmed by the Australian War Memorial (AWM) and will be screened at the new southern entrance of the AWM in Canberra to welcome visitors.
Date of service coincides with the retaking of the Kokoda Village by 39th.
