Ferntree Gully is about to welcome an exciting new addition to its vibrant community with the launch of the Under the Fern Trees Market.
Grand Opening on the 1st of March 2025 and then every first Saturday of the month (except January), from 9am to 2pm, at 6 The Avenue, in the carpark beside the Uniting Church.
The market will offer a unique blend of fresh produce, handmade goods, and live entertainment for people of all ages. A special Twilight Market is also planned for December, adding a magical evening touch to the festive season.
‘Our goal is to create a vibrant space where locals can connect, celebrate diversity, and support sustainability,’ said Andreja Trobec, the event organiser. ‘This market will be more than just a place to shop – it’s about fostering a sense of belonging and building a stronger, more connected community.’
A marketplace like no other
Under the Fern Trees Market is set to become a cornerstone of Ferntree Gully Village life, featuring a wide variety of stalls. Visitors can explore fresh and local produce, homemade goods, unique arts and crafts, body products, seedlings, herbs, and much more.
